 Anime Season uses the five box layout which is effective because it clearly displays the most recent videos and links in the left column to the most popular videos. I would use this layout apart from the way the right column is used because from past experience I know that adverts slow down the download of the website and from a video website it can affect the playback quality of the videos.

YouTube has a search bar and a login system, the search bar I plan to incorporate into my own website and the Login system could be interest because it would allow people to login into the website and leave comments on each page and even on a forum page if I included you.

 Deviantart is an interesting website which allows people to upload their photos and pictures. For me it's interesting but i dont think the layout would be appropriate for my own website. Again it has a search bar and a login system which would be nice to use.

Amazon is a shopping website which is well laid out with three columns the right column contains a directory of links to each department, the left column contains the shopping basket and up-to-date adverts and the centre column contains new releases and great offers.

One-to-one meeting with Joanne Bowman

On Wednesday the 3rd I had a meeting with Jo to discuss my progress. So far i am finding the course very enjoyable and the work load to be manageable. We discussed a concern with one module and I was reassured that my problems would be resolved.

Design for the Internet - Log 1

I have made the base of my website by creating 15 pages and linking them all together once I have the idea for the website approved I can begin adding the content to each page which I will do roughly on paper before hand.

New Essay Question

I found that my previous essay question was difficult to conduct research into. I have now thought of a new question that should prove to be more promising.
